Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using LaunchingPad, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the LaunchingPad website.
Author and operator: the Developer. App: LaunchingPad for macOS.
License
Subject to these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use LaunchingPad on Macs you own or control, for personal or internal business use.
You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, host, or commercially exploit LaunchingPad except where applicable law expressly allows it or the Developer gives written permission.
No accounts
LaunchingPad does not provide user accounts, login, account recovery, cloud profiles, or user-to-user services. You are responsible for access to your Mac and for the local app data stored on it.
Acceptable use
You agree to use LaunchingPad only in a lawful way and only on systems where you have permission to install and manage applications. You must not use the app to interfere with other people's systems, bypass security controls, distribute malware, or violate third-party rights.
App cleanup and file removal
LaunchingPad includes features that can review installed apps and related support files, then move or delete selected items after confirmation. You use these features at your own risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing the items shown before confirming removal. Keep backups of important data and do not remove files unless you understand the effect.
LaunchingPad may refuse or limit removal for protected apps, system locations, or files that macOS does not allow it to change. File removal and restoration behavior can depend on macOS permissions, Finder automation, Full Disk Access, administrator approval, Trash availability, and system protections.
Updates and availability
LaunchingPad may change, add, or remove features over time. Updates may be delivered through the app's configured update mechanism, direct downloads, or other distribution channels. The Developer may stop providing the app, website, updates, or support at any time.
Third-party services and platforms
LaunchingPad runs on macOS and may interact with Apple services, Sparkle update feeds, Google/Firebase analytics, and the LaunchingPad download or update server. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. The Developer is not responsible for third-party services, software, or platform changes.
Ownership
LaunchingPad, its design, code, name, icons, website, and related materials are owned by the Developer or licensed to him, except for third-party materials and trademarks. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or intellectual property to you.
Apple, macOS, and Launchpad are trademarks of Apple Inc. LaunchingPad is not affiliated with Apple.
Privacy
Your use of LaunchingPad is also covered by the Privacy Policy, which explains local data, analytics, update checks, and macOS permissions.
Disclaimer
LaunchingPad is provided "as is" and "as available." You use it entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
LaunchingPad is a utility for managing a local app launcher layout and related workflows. It is not a backup tool, security product, legal compliance tool, or guaranteed file recovery system.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Developer accepts no responsibility and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, device problems, file removal, app removal, configuration changes, or third-party claims arising from your use of LaunchingPad.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
Termination
You may stop using LaunchingPad at any time. The Developer may terminate or suspend your license to use LaunchingPad if you violate these Terms. After termination, you must stop using the app and delete copies in your possession if requested.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, except where mandatory local law gives you additional rights or requires a different governing law.
Changes
These Terms may be updated as LaunchingPad changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of LaunchingPad after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the Developer through the support or contact channel published with the app or on launchingpad.app.
